A Journey of Trust and Blessings
Looking back on my journey, I am in awe of how God has led me through both trials and triumphs. On January 9, 2011, I shared a testimony about a job opportunity that, at the time, I wasn’t sure about. Today, I can say with confidence that taking that job was one of the best decisions I ever made. It has provided for me and my family for over a decade, proving that God’s direction is always perfect.
Faith Through Life’s Challenges
Since then, my family has faced some difficult moments. In 2012, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, and later, she battled cervical cancer. By God’s grace, she survived both. She also suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed, but in just three days, she miraculously walked out of the hospital. God truly is a healer!
Through all these challenges, God not only sustained us spiritually but also provided for us financially through the very job I once hesitated to take. His provision never failed, and we never lacked.
God’s Plan Unfolds
During this time, I felt led to go back to school. I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information, received my CompTIA A+ Certification, and a Technical Certificate in Web Development. In 2015, I graduated, stepping into a new season of opportunity.
Today, I serve as a New Launch Quality Engineer at the same company that I once hesitated to join. This journey has taught me that when we follow God’s voice, we position ourselves for blessings beyond our expectations.
God’s Math is Different
Looking back to when I was unemployed, I see God’s hand so clearly. In 2009, I lost my job and remained unemployed for months, yet God sustained my family financially. My pastor always said, “God’s math is different from ours,” and I experienced that firsthand. Even with no job, I was able to provide for my family and even purchase a vehicle when my truck broke down.
Through it all, I remained faithful in tithing, trusting that God would make a way—and He did!
A Shift is Coming
Every challenge we face is an opportunity for God to show His glory. Whether it was my job loss, my wife’s illnesses, or financial struggles, God always proved that He was in control.
If you are waiting for a breakthrough, keep trusting Him. He is a sustainer, a healer, and a provider. Sometimes, what seems like a setback is actually God positioning you for a greater blessing.
May God bless you and your family abundantly, and may His favor rest upon you in every season of your life.
